How To Gracefully Admit You’re Wrong

  4. Accept you need to apologize.
  5. Ok well at least accept the reality that you have to apologize.
  6. Yes, you have to say the words and out loud.
  7. Approach the apologé.
  8. Smile.
  9. More.
  10. No, actually smile.
  11. Here, hold on.

How To Smile

  1. Point the ends of your mouth upward
  2. Upward.
  3. That is “up” from where they were but not “upward”.
  4. You are making a line. Make a ‘U’ with your lips.
  5. Show some teeth to make it look more genuine
  6. At least stop pursing your lips
  7. Good enough

  1. Look them in the eyes.
  2. Yes, the entire time.
  3. Do not roll your eyes.
  4. Admit you were wrong.
  5. So they can hear it, you are making this harder than it has to be.
  6. Explain how you will attempt to do better going forward.
  7. No, just saying “sorry” isn’t enough.
  8. Because you have to be sincere or this is useless.

  11. You should be.
  12. No, I’m not going to say “it’s okay”, because it’s not.
  13. You cant say those things to people.
  14. I do not have to accept your apology.
