Friday Roundup: Get To Work
On November 11th, 2016 in Quibbles
It has been a bad week, and likely the first of many. I don’t like apocalyptics but every alarm is going off in my head right now, and when they finally calm down I don’t think the conclusion will change; we should hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
There is so much at stake, and we must all be the arsenal of democracy. It begins now and it ends when power has been safely transitioned once again.
It has been increasingly difficult for news sources to keep their credibility next to the propaganda-adjacent networks, and journalists will have to struggle to defend your voice in the future of restricted press access.
At least Wall Street will have a good time for a bit.
Going forward know this: you are not alone, “Feel the pain and use it to do whatever good you can”. Do that work now, or as soon to now as you can. Do not wait to mobilize your concerns, the other side wont.

There were some links I gathered before Tuesday, but I don’t remember what I was thinking or why they were interesting. My thoughts are still lost in the dark fog that has descended over our republic.
Happy weekend. Find them where you can.
