Friday Roundup: Through The Wilderness

On September 9th, 2016 in Quibbles

Hey y’all, let’s see what secrets this week has revealed.

Supermarket hygiene products continue to get rocked as it was reported that antibacterial soaps are no more effective that standard soap.

Philae lander has decided to share it’s location, finally giving the European Space Agency the closure it needs since it ghosted them.

ITT showed itself for nothing more than a grifter, announcing its closure now that the government will no longer grant its students financial aid.

Most shocking of all, though, is that there are actually four Giraffes, not one. That explains why I’ve never seen them in the same room.

It’s nice to be able to experience these discoveries, since in a hundred years no one else will be discovering anything in the wilderness.

This is a good reminder, that we need to take our roles in society seriously, whether we asked for them or not.

That we all have an impact, even if it’s just making a statement.

Because, because we need to talk about these things. Things like telling people to send their perfectly good hardware to the dump because there’s an upgrade available.

Happy weekend. I’m going to go enjoy the last bits of my time visiting internet friends IRL.
